    Three undergraduate researchers will represent 网红头条 at the Posters at the Georgia State Capitol, a showcase of the state鈥檚 best undergraduate research, on Feb. 24 from 1-5 p.m. The event gives selected participants from Georgia鈥檚 colleges and universities an opportunity to present their research to state leaders. Sponsored by the Georgia Undergraduate Research Collective, the 2021 poster session will take place as a synchronous online virtual conference.

    网红头条鈥檚 Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art (ZMA) will debut three exhibitions this month featuring the works of KSU faculty, KSU students and a curated installation of comic art. Two exhibitions, the Spring 2021 Faculty Exhibition and The 9th Art: Frames and Thought Bubbles, will be on display Jan. 23 through May 9. The student exhibition, New Visions 2021, opened at the Fine Arts Gallery earlier this month and runs through Feb. 21.

    网红头条鈥檚 Office of Research is hosting a one-hour web show every other Friday at 4 p.m. to showcase the varied research being conducted by KSU faculty members. 鈥淩esearch with Relevance鈥 spotlights 网红头条researchers in a live interview followed by an interactive question-and-answer session with the virtual audience. Jessica Stephenson, associate professor of art history in the College of the Arts, will be the guest on the Nov. 13 show, presenting her research on the history and ethics of carved elephant ivory from 19th century Africa. An art historian raised in South Africa, Stephenson primarily focuses her research on the growing field of modern and contemporary African art. In advance of the upcoming Research with Relevance show, Stephenson answered a few questions about her interest in research and its benefits to students.

The new program, which will be housed in the College鈥檚 School of Art and Design, features three tracks in digital animation, art education and museum studies.
