We are so excited that you鈥檙e joining Owl Nation! Whether you鈥檙e new to college or coming from another institution, our team is here for you as you transition to campus.
Orientation requirements and offerings are determined by student type. Use the sections below to learn more!
New Student Orientation is required for all new freshman undergraduate students (under 30 credit hours). New freshman students will register for their first semester classes during their orientation session.

Orientation is not required鈥�for new transfer students. Transfer students should complete the鈥� 鈥� prior to course registration. Optional special events and accepted student events are available for new transfer students.

International Student Orientation is鈥�required鈥痜or all new international students (undergraduate and graduate). International students should 鈥�register for classes鈥� before attending orientation.

Students participating in KSU鈥檚 Dual Enrollment Program are鈥�required鈥痶o attend a鈥� Dual Enrollment Orientation鈥� session, hosted by KSU Admissions.
Dual Enrollment Students
Orientation is鈥痭ot required鈥�for readmit, transient, continuing, and auditing students. Graduate students will receive information about program orientations from the Graduate College.鈥�
