Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

KSU is home to the Internal Audit Center (IAC). The IAC is a Center of Excellence in the Internal Audit Academic Alliance of the IIA. As an Internal Audit Academic Alliance program, the KSU-IAC supports education to prepare students for the Internal Auditing Profession. KSU Students can earn an Internal Audit Academic Alliance certificate by completing either:
- A set of five undergraduate courses,
- Accounting Information Systems (ACCT 3300)
- Auditing and Assurance (ACCT 4150)
- Internal Auditing (ACCT 4152)
- Fraud and Forensic Accounting (ACCT 4800)
- Accounting Data Analytics (ACCT 4550)
OR
- The Audit/Advisory track of the Master of Accounting program.
